How MCC Children Score on the KRA-L
We here at Millcreek Children's Center have been conducting an academic preschool for Youngstown children for over 30 years. Our pre-kindergarten pupils score very high on the tests we administer to judge how well we have prepared the children for what is required in kindergarten today. Kindergarten teachers who receive our "graduates" into their classes always praise them for their achievement and their being so eager to learn.

The State of Ohio now requires every entering kindergarten pupil to take a state-mandated test called the KRA-L, the Kindergarten Assessment for Readiness-Literacy. What a joy for us to see how well our "graduates" do on this new test!

Just think. Our graduates score right up there with the outstanding schools of the suburbs! We rank close to Boardman, Canfield, and Poland on the KRA-L Test.

Success?...Research shows that strong achievement in kindergarten is the best predictor of later school success. Parents of our pupils can be sure their childen have the best possible start in school. Millcreek Children's Center is the PREP SCHOOL which preschool children need and deserve.
