Anthony Floyd attended Millcreek Children's Center beginning in 1985. He continued his education through Chaney High School and the University of Louisville graduating with a major in marketing. Currently, Anthony is playing football for the Indianapolis Colts. |
Shunice Moreland now attends Creekside High School in Atlanta, Georgia. She was also in the first Kindergarten class at the Youngstown Community School when it first opened in 1998. She plans to be a registered nurse when she graduates in 2012. She currently runs track, is a cheerleader, and sings in the Honors Chorus. |
Kayla Huggins is now in the seventh grade at Rennisance Middle School in Atlanta, Georgia. She attended Millcreek Children's Center from ages three until five. She plans to be a Labor and Delivery nurse when she graduates in 2015. She currently plays basketball for her school. |

Michael J. Harden is a senior at Glenville State College in Glenville, West Virginia, where he is majoring in sports therapy. Michael was a student of Millcreek Children's Center at its former location. His mother was on the staff of Community Development Agency in the adjacent offices and Michael liked being able to run over to his mother's office right after school. |
LaKeisha Harry attended Millcreek Children's Center at the age of four and has certainly accomplished many things since then! She graduated from Central Michigan University in 2004 with a Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship and a minor in Communication Disorders. She continues to further her education in Sign Language Interpreting at Georgia Perimeter College. LaKeisha is now married, and recently moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she is working at the Atlanta Area School for the Deaf. |
Natalie Linton is now a recruiter for the Cleveland School System. Natalie graduated from Cleveland State University after finishing Cardinal Mooney High School and Millcreek Children's Center. She was a student at the Center beginiing in 1981. Congratulations, Natalie. |

Gina Abrams attends YSU on a scholastic scholarship, majoring in Early Childhood Education (PreK-grade 3). She will graduate in May 2006. She graduated from Chaney High School after attending Immaculate Conception School and Millcreek Children's Center beginning in 1984. Following her college graduation, she will teach in Youngstown City Schools to fulfill her scholarship requirements. Gina is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and Order of Omega, an honor society for sorority and fraternity members. She attends Phillips Chapel CME Church and sings locally with a Gospel group called "Revelations." Millcreek Children's Center is so lucky that Gina has agreed to help at the Center with future projects. |
Christopher A. Moorer is a junior at Youngstown State University majoring in nursing home administration, He is remembered as an inquisitive 4-year-old. One day while the teacher was talking to the class, Christopher wandered up to the teacher's desk. She noticed that he was quite busy and asked what he is doing. "I'm reading these names," he replied. The teacher asked which names. he told her that he was reading the name of the students in her Rolodex. And sure enough, he started reading the names to her. |
Chaunice Bonner attended Millcreek Children's Center for two years, beginning in 1993. Her teacher at the time recognized that she was an advanced student within her first couple of weeks. She has continued to excel in the following years. Chaunice attended a Christian kindergarten, Williamson Elementary, East Middle School and was selected to attend Youngstown Early College for her freshman year in High School. She received an award for her English essay and was honored at the spring banquet. She plans to finish school and go to college. |
