Millcreek Children’s Center is aglow with excitement in technology. The computer program gives students a weekly lesson using educational software. Throughout the week students have additional opportunities to explore the software which they have been introduced to.

Moms, dads and grandparents join their children in the parenting technology program. The adults have a private session with the technology specialist for hands-on practice with Macintosh computers. Then their child joins in for some real parent-supported learning using the software chosen for the child’s learning needs. Internet training is also available.

Parents can earn free tickets to museums when they spend a session on the Internet to investigate the site they wish to visit. Parents may take a Macintosh computer home for six months when they complete a course of five classes.
