Millcreek Children’s Center is aglow with excitement in technology. The computer instructor gives students a weekly lesson using educational software. Throughout the week students have additional opportunities to use the software on their classroom computers.

Moms, dads and grandparents join their children in the parenting technology program. The adults have a private session with the technology specialist for hands-on practice with Macintosh computers. Then their child joins in for some real parent-supported learning using the software chosen for the child’s learning needs. Internet training is also available.

Parents may take a Macintosh computer home for six months when they complete a course of five classes. This is a great opportunity for the parent to be the teacher of their child.
