• It is tough growing up in Youngstown, Ohio. You can sponsor a child whose parents are struggling to pay for a good preschool education for their child. $1,200 will sponsor a child for six months... $2,400 for a year. This will be a great help for low-income working parents.

• Events Assistant - Millcreek Children's Center has found it necessary to have regular fund raising events. Volunteers are needed to augment our staff for these events a few times a year. Such events may include "Prom 'n Aid", a sale of gently used gowns, and "Short-Holes Shoot Out," a golf outing. We are having a reunion for former Millcreek Children's Center students. Volunteers would be an asset to this event. These are fun occasions as well as fund raising.
• Ground Keeper - The grounds at the center could use a boost! Do you have green thumb... or like to spruce things up?
• Computer Tutor - Our program includes computer instruction for our children. We have high school helpers throughout the school year who assist our children on the computer. We really need summer computer tutors. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.

• The children often require clothing, particularly socks and underwear. We happily accept donations of sizes 4 through 10 children's underwear and small sizes of children's socks.
• Clothing gift certificates from local stores are another good way to help the children.
• Shoe store gift certificates are another way to donate to the children.
• We welcome food certificates from local markets.
• You may wish to donate unwrapped birthday and Christmas gifts appropriate for preschool children. This is a wonderful surprise for our children on special days.
• Our classrooms could always use education materials like preschool pencils, crayons, glue, paper, and preschool books.
