September is an exciting time of year for Millcreek Children's Center. We welcome back children who have had a summer break, and we meet our new three-year olds. This year, MCC is happy to introduce two new teachers. Miss Heather Burbick, teaching our three-year-olds in Room 1, has her bachelor's degree in education and experience in early childhood teaching. Mrs. Mary Lee Bush, teaching our pre-kindergarten pupils in Room 3, comes to us with years of experience and a master's degree in education. (see photos)

On September 11, the United Way Annual Day of Caring brought 15 volunteers to Millcreek Children's Center. The volunteers came from First National Bank, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court and Staffing Partners. Each classroom had helpers and the landscaping was tremendously improved by a hard-working crew. All this help is greatly appreciated. (see photos)
